What to consider before buying

When choosing an additive sculpting kit, consider whether you prefer air-dry or oven-bake clay. Air-dry clay (like DAS) is more beginner-friendly but may crack; polymer clays (like Sculpey) offer more detail and durability but require baking. For reusability, oil-based clays (Monster Clay) are best. Start with a medium firmness for balance, and ensure you have basic tools like shaping tools and a work surface.
